Keroro Gunso Plamo Collection series no. 1 - Keroro Gunso |

Keroro Gunso Plamo Collection series no. 01 side cover |
I bought this plamo kit in HobbyLink Japan (see my previous post
here). I'm starting my first toy review today. We are going to build Sgt. Frog plamo, based from the anime and manga of the same name. I've built several plamos before and this kit will be very easy in my level.
Let's start!

What tools do you need before building a plastic model kit?
- pliers specially made to cut runners (e.g. Bandai Toolkit)
- Gundam Marker or Tamiya paint [Optional]
- cutting board [Optional]
Unboxing this plamo, you'll get the usual manual guide, runners, stickers and additional promotional flyer showing how you can connect the head of Keroro Gunso plamo with Gundam SD plamo kit.

There is a total of six plastic runners in this model kit. It will not take much of your time building this kit compare to Master Grade Gundam model which will take you days if you're very patient.

Building his head only took a couple of minutes:

I completed building this plastic model kit around 20 minutes:

I only have one complain about this plamo. The sticker particularly the eye is wrinkled no matter how I re-put it. I build Giroro and Dororo before and the sticker they provided stick well.
BONUS: Painting Sgt. Frog's weapons with Gundam Marker
I wish I have a good camera to record how I paint my plastic model kits. Still I want to share you some of the photos on how I do it.
We will be using Gundam Marker to paint some of the plastic with no respective stickers (not included in the kit).

Keroro Gunso's shield is similar to RX-78-2 Gundam's shield. If you've watched or read Sgt. Frog, remember he eventually became in love with building Gunpla kits while staying in Earth. Also the reason why they always fail in invading our planet.
This shield will require a white Tamiya paint or White Gundam Marker:

TIPS: Patch a fragment of Masking Tape on the inner rim of the shield. This will protect the area of the shield that doesn't need painting.
