BONUS: Panel lining Private Second Class Tamama's cheeks with Red Gundam Marker
Think we're done? We're missing his bloody cheeks, I mean his rosy cheeks. No sticker is included in the kit to fill those details. So we're going to use again our Gundam Marker to complete detailing this plamo kit.

Tamama plamo without painting |
Notice the photo above (open picture in new tab to see it closely). There are ridges in his cheeks. That's where our Gundam Marker will fill in.

Tamama plamo figure panel lined with Red Gundam Marker |
I'm not sure what the manual guide is telling me about the specific Marker to use. Just an educated guess, It must be Red so I just used my existing GM46.
|
Pointed Tip Cotton Buds + alcohol to clean overlapped paint |
Due to the size of the Marker's tip we can't avoid the overlapping paint when we panel line his cheeks. But It's easy to clean with an alcohol.
|
Cleaning the overlapped paint with alcohol |
Clean the surrounding area of his cheeks with alcoholed cotton buds and gently wipe the rim area for proper touch. The red fill will stay there in the rim parts. Also, I intentionally left a little blush of red while cleaning it, a little weathering aside to the panel lined cheeks.
|
Tamama's cheeks are now clean! |
By the way, I suggest you use a pointed tip Cotton Buds because the gap between rim lines is very narrow.
See you on my next photo shoot post :)
