This teaser was published last year in December 2023 by MAPPA's Official YouTube channel. There have yet to be any production updates about this anime movie as of this writing. It may be released next year 2025.
No news yet if it's a standalone movie or if the project they will be doing is an anime reboot. I think It is a reboot. What do you think?

What do you think of the Midoriya designed by the Tamashii Nations? For me, this beats the contending action figure makers like GSC/Max Factory figma and Kaiyodo's Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech. Just look at the face sculpt! It's very him!
